The Noodle Factory at The Avenues

Momo and I decided to eat at Noodle Factory.. It's been there for quite sometime but I never had the feeling to dine in.

The menu is quite limited, very selective choices and no descriptions. It has a limited selection of Thai, Indonesian, Chinese and Malay dishes.

We manage to order on the basis of our host, he was pretty helpful!!

The orders are done on a menu checklist!! which was nice!!

Our order:

• Thai Pandan Chicken KD 1.950
• Malay Chowmein KD 2.950
• Nasi Goreng KD 2.750
• Pepsi KD 0.900

Total : KD 8.550

Thai Pandan Chicken is basically Boneless chicken cutlets that are marinated in sauces and spices, wrapped in aromatic pandan leaves and fried until crisp and browned.
It was flavorful and the chicken was juicy not dry and stringy!!

Nasi goreng/fried rice is a popular dish in Southeast Asia. This nasi goreng recipe is Indonesian version of fried rice and served with fried egg. This was served with a few chips on the side ,beef satay with peanut sauce(i guess), fried chicken lollipop topped with a sunny side up egg.

We loved it!! it was delicious!!

Last but not the least , Beef Malay Chowmein ... stir fried egg noodles (mee pok I guess) with vegetables and beef..was quite delicious !!

Honestly, I was not hoping to enjoy the food but I did!! It was not as bad as the earlier reviews I read!!

Overall:

• Quality, Quantity, Taste & Quality was good.
• Menu has limited dishes to choose from and no description.
• Friendly staff - great service
• The restaurant is quite open so you can eat and watch the shoppers at the same time.
• Reasonable pricing
